Scope — Process Areas / Towers Covered
• Enterprise architecture and application landscape rationalisation

Key Responsibilities — During Design & Diagnose
• Provide and validate current-state technology landscape, application inventory, integrations, infrastructure and data maturity documentation for the delivery partner.
• Co-design the target enterprise architecture, ERP strategy (migration vs. greenfield), and enterprise data platform blueprint.
• Represent IT in key technology decisions including ERP, data platform, AI infrastructure, vendor selection, and build vs. buy strategy.
• Define technology governance, integration principles, and enterprise architecture standards throughout the programme.
Key Responsibilities — Through Build, Rollout & Steady State
• Own RCPL-side execution of ERP implementation, data platform/lakehouse deployment, and enterprise integration architecture in partnership with the systems integrator.
• Ensure cybersecurity, data privacy, governance and compliance requirements are embedded throughout solution design and prior to go-live.
• Lead implementation of enterprise reporting, control tower capabilities and real-time KPI monitoring.
• Drive capability transfer and knowledge handover to enable RCPL's internal IT organisation to independently operate and evolve the digital landscape post-implementation.
• Govern delivery partners and technology vendors to ensure adherence to approved architecture, quality standards and project milestones.
Skills Required
Key Skills:
• 8–12+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, ERP Transformation, Digital Core, or Enterprise IT roles within large organisations.
• Proven experience leading or participating in large-scale ERP modernisation, shared services, or enterprise transformation programmes.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (or equivalent ERP platforms), enterprise architecture frameworks, application rationalisation, and process digitisation.
• Experience with modern data platforms/lakehouses (e.g. Databricks), enterprise master data, integration architecture, APIs and middleware technologies.
• Engineering degree with relevant SAP, Cloud, Enterprise Architecture or Technology certifications preferred.
• Strong understanding of enterprise cybersecurity, data privacy, technology governance and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to evaluate migration vs. greenfield strategies, build vs. buy decisions, and enterprise technology roadmaps.
• Experience managing external systems integrators, technology vendors and cross-functional business stakeholders throughout large transformation programmes.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and programme governance skills with the ability to work across Finance, Business, Shared Services, AI/ML and IT teams
