Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Bengaluru. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial activities, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and balance sheet accounts, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The role involves supporting tax filings, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, and preparing reports for management and auditors. The Accountant will collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights, improve processes, and support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and basic statutory reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems) and MS Excel.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and a high level of accuracy in financial work.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an on-site, fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a similar accounting or finance role is preferred.
