Role Description The Area Service Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, responsible for overseeing service operations and customer support within the assigned region. This role includes managing installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of X-ray and related imaging systems, ensuring high equipment uptime and quality of service. The Area Service Manager will coordinate and guide field service engineers, plan preventive maintenance schedules, and monitor service metrics and reports. The position also involves building strong relationships with customers, addressing escalations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and collaborating with internal teams such as sales, production, and technical support. The individual will be expected to optimize resource allocation, manage spare parts logistics, and contribute to continuous improvement of service processes.
Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge of X-ray equipment and medical imaging systems, with experience in installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Service operations and team management skills, including planning, coordination, and performance monitoring of field service personnel.
- Customer service and relationship management capabilities, with a focus on issue resolution, communication, and long-term client satisfaction.
- Ability to work on-site in clinical environments, follow safety and regulatory guidelines, and maintain detailed service documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Relevant experience in medical equipment service, preferably in radiology or diagnostic imaging, and familiarity with hospital workflows.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with proficiency in basic computer applications and reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned area as required for customer visits and service calls.
