Role Description The Career Counselor at Kinetic Pro Fitness Academy will provide individualized and group counseling to learners to help them identify career goals within the fitness and wellness industry. This full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai involves conducting career assessments, guiding students on course and certification choices, and supporting internship and job placement activities. The counselor will organize career workshops, information sessions, and employer interactions, while maintaining up-to-date records of student progress and outcomes. The role also includes collaborating with faculty and administration to enhance career development initiatives, staying informed about industry trends, and offering ongoing support to learners as they transition into employment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Career Counseling, Career Development, and Career Management.
- Candidates should possess effective Student Counseling and Communication skills.
- Experience in academic or vocational counseling, preferably within fitness, wellness, sports, or related fields.
- Ability to build rapport with diverse learners and maintain professional, non-judgmental support.
- Strong organizational skills, including documentation, scheduling, and follow-up with learners and employers.
- Comfort with using digital tools for career resources, student tracking, and communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, Human Resources, or a related discipline; a counseling certification is an advantage.
- Knowledge of current trends and roles in the fitness and wellness industry in India, especially in Mumbai, is beneficial.
