👨💻 We're Hiring | Tech Lead
📍 Remote | 🕐 Full-time | 🏢 Future Sportler
We're looking for a Tech Lead who can do it all — write production-grade code, own the architecture, and keep the infrastructure running smoothly. If you're a hands-on engineer who loves solving hard problems across mobile, web, and backend — and you're not afraid of DevOps — this one's for you. 👇
🛠️ What You'll Do:
- Lead the technical architecture and engineering decisions across the entire product stack
- Build and maintain production-grade mobile apps using React Native — iOS and Android
- Develop and optimize web experiences using Next.js — SSR, SSG, API routes, and server components
- Design and maintain scalable backend APIs and services using Node.js
- Own DevOps end to end — CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, containerization, and infrastructure management
- Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems for production reliability
- Review code, enforce best practices, and maintain high engineering standards across the team
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers
- Collaborate with product, design, and AI teams to ship features fast without compromising quality
- Make pragmatic technology decisions that balance speed, scale, and maintainability
✅ What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of software development experience with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role
- Strong hands-on proficiency in React Native — apps shipped to App Store and Google Play
- Solid experience with Next.js — routing, server components, and production deployments
- Strong backend development skills with Node.js — REST APIs, authentication, and database integration
- Hands-on DevOps experience — Docker, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitrise, or similar), and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and production reliability
- Experience with databases — PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis
- Comfortable making architectural decisions independently and owning outcomes
- Strong code review and documentation habits
- Excellent communication skills — you can explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders
🎯 Nice to Have:
- Experience with real-time systems — WebSockets, live data, or event-driven architecture
- Familiarity with AI/ML integration — working alongside AI engineers to productionize models
- Knowledge of mobile CI/CD — EAS, Fastlane, or CodePush
- Experience with infrastructure as code — Terraform, Pulumi, or similar
- Background in Sports Tech or high-traffic consumer products
- Open source contributions or side projects that showcase your range
