Role Overview : The Head of People & Culture will lead TantraEdu’s talent transformation in Pune. This role focuses on establishing structured HR operations, driving OKRs, managing Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), and scaling high-performing teams to support the agency's 2030 vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Performance Management & PIPs : Implement structured 60-day Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and quarterly evaluation frameworks to elevate team output and accountability.
- HR Operations & Governance : Standardize agency HR policies, employment compliance, onboarding workflows, and transparent job descriptions across all operational units.
- Culture & Talent Transformation : Drive a high-performance work culture that balances employee empathy with strict quality, speed, and delivery standards.
- Organizational Upskilling : Design continuous learning tracks and AI-tool adoption programmes to transform traditional task executors into strategic thinkers.
- Strategic Talent Acquisition : Partner with leadership to recruit high-caliber talent for critical vacant roles across content, video, and growth units.
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
- Performance Improvement Success Rate : Successfully transition or resolve at least 80% of underperforming team members through structured PIP frameworks.
- OKR Compliance & Adherence : Ensure 100% of agency personnel operate under clear, measurable quarterly KRAs and performance scorecards.
- Retention of Key Talent : Maintain high retention rates among top-tier strategic contributors through structured career paths and profit-sharing initiatives.
- Onboarding & Recruitment Efficiency : Reduce time-to-hire for critical roles while executing seamless, standardized onboarding for all new hires.
- Employee Engagement Index : Elevate internal survey ratings regarding workplace clarity, psychological safety, operational fairness, and professional growth opportunities.

Educational Qualification : Master’s Degree (MBA / PGDM) in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, or Organizational Psychology from a recognized institution.
Work Experience
- Overall Experience : 15+ years of core Human Resources leadership experience.
- Relevant Work Experience Aspects
- Minimum 5–7 years leading HR operations within fast-paced digital marketing agencies, technology services, or professional consulting firms.
- Proven track record of managing organizational turnaround stories, including restructuring overlapping departments and establishing person-independent HR systems.
- Hands-on experience executing Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) in mid-sized firms to resolve productivity and delivery gaps.
- Demonstrated leadership in transitioning companies from legacy to high-accountability styles, OKR-driven cultures.
