Detailed Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the architecture of complex software systems, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with business goals.
- Drive the technical roadmap and make strategic decisions regarding tools, technologies, frameworks, and methodologies.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and design patterns across the engineering team.
- Mentor and guide engineers at all levels, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development across Onsite and Offshore teams.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in applications, ensuring high standards of performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Implement and advocate for security best practices, ensuring applications are secure and compliant with relevant healthcare regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for software architecture, design, development processes, and deployment procedures.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, effectively articulating complex technical concepts to ensure clarity and understanding.
- Collaborate with Onsite and Offshore teams to create and deliver high-quality data products and software solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and agile environment to deliver innovative solutions to complex business problems.
- Contribute to frameworks and solution engineering initiatives within the healthcare domain.
- Solve problems associated with large-scale, complex, structured, and unstructured data while continuously improving technical and engineering expertise.
- Provide technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with a strong background in system design, architecture, and technical leadership.
- Strong hands-on experience with full-stack technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and APIs.
- Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks and libraries, particularly Angular and/or React.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and GraphQL.
- Hands-on experience with Java 21 and modern Java development practices.
- Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Spanner, or similar databases.
- Experience and proficiency in Java and Python APIs and microservices.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS, with strong preference for GCP.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Maven, Git, and modern software development and version-control practices.
- Good understanding of cloud-native application architecture and deployment methodologies.
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with distributed Onsite and Offshore teams.
- Healthcare domain experience is preferred/required based on project needs.
