Key Responsibilities
- Should have good knowledge of Ocean and Air Freight business.
- Procure competitive freight rates for Port-to-Port, Ex-Works, DAP and DDP shipments across Ocean and Air.
- Prepare and submit timely and competitive quotations for all customer and sales enquiries.
- Regularly follow up on quotations to obtain customer feedback and target rates and improve conversion.
- Negotiate with shipping lines, airlines, agents and vendors to secure competitive pricing.
- Provide day-to-day pricing and operational support to the Sales team.
- Maintain updated rate sheets, quotations and vendor/agent pricing.
- Coordinate with internal teams and overseas agents for accurate and complete pricing solutions.
Candidate Profile
- Relevant experience in Freight Forwarding Pricing / Sales Support.
- Strong understanding of Ocean Freight and Air Freight.
- Knowledge of Incoterms, freight rates and end-to-end shipment costing.
- Good negotiation, communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to handle multiple enquiries and provide quotations within defined timelines.
