Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Preschool Centre Manager role based in Bengaluru. The Preschool Centre Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the center, including managing staff schedules, monitoring classroom activities, and ensuring adherence to safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards. The role includes mentoring and supporting teachers, implementing curriculum guidelines, organizing parent communication and meetings, and managing admissions and enrolment processes. The manager is responsible for maintaining records, coordinating with vendors and service providers, and handling basic budgeting and resource allocation for the center. The position also involves fostering a positive learning environment, resolving concerns from families, and promoting the preschool within the local community.
Qualifications
- Experience in preschool or early childhood education management, with the ability to oversee daily center operations and staff supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with children, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles, curriculum implementation, and child safety and protection guidelines.
- Organizational and administrative abilities, including record-keeping, basic budgeting, scheduling, and compliance with local regulations.
- Proficiency in using basic computer applications and digital tools for documentation, communication, and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field; relevant certifications in preschool education are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a leadership or coordinator role within a school or preschool setting is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, gender-neutral, and non-discriminatory practices in an educational environment.
