Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Welder role based in Mumbai. The Welder will perform various welding tasks using appropriate techniques and equipment, including setting up machines, selecting materials, and preparing workpieces according to technical drawings and specifications. Daily responsibilities include welding and assembling components, inspecting welds for quality and accuracy, and performing basic maintenance on welding tools and machinery. The role involves following safety guidelines, using protective equipment, and working closely with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines and production targets. The Welder may also support related fabrication, cutting, and grinding tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Welding skills, with experience in reading and understanding technical drawings or fabrication sketches.
- Candidates should possess Arc Welding and basic welding process skills for industrial and fabrication environments.
- Candidates should possess TIG Welding and MIG Welding skills for working with different materials and welding requirements.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Materials, including metal types, thicknesses, and appropriate welding techniques.
- Ability to operate welding equipment and hand tools safely, following all health and safety standards.
- Previous experience as a Welder or in an industrial fabrication setting is preferred.
- Basic educational qualification (vocational training or certification in welding is an advantage).
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work collaboratively with supervisors and team members.
