We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join a remote-first team based in India. This role offers the opportunity to work on AI-powered research and intelligence systems that help organizations analyze complex networks of people, organizations, issues, and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend systems using Python and Django.
- Design and manage databases with Postgres.
- Implement workflow orchestration using tools such as Prefect, Celery, or similar.
- Contribute to building product features powered by large language models (LLMs).
- Collaborate closely with a small, ambitious engineering team and work directly on challenging problems related to AI research workflows and knowledge graphs.
- Apply engineering expertise to projects focused on politics, government transparency, and public-interest work.
Experience & Compensation:
- 4 to 7 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Competitive salary range from 40 to 70 LPA, commensurate with experience and demonstrated ability.
