We are seeking a senior backend engineer to own backend systems and infrastructure end to end. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 11 years of experience and be deeply hands-on with backend technologies. You will collaborate closely with Product, Frontend, and Data teams to design scalable and reliable systems, and build AI-powered infrastructure including large language model orchestration, agentic pipelines, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, and tool-use frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- Own backend architecture, scalability, and production reliability with strong ownership.
- Design and develop backend systems and infrastructure to support AI-native applications.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Frontend, and Data teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Build and maintain systems involving LLM orchestration, agentic pipelines, and RAG frameworks.
Requirements:
- 4 to 11 years of professional experience in backend engineering.
- Strong expertise with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency with Redis and distributed systems.
- Passion for building AI-native backend infrastructure.
- Ability to take full ownership of backend systems, ensuring scalability and reliability in production environments.
