About DeepsolvAt Deepsolv, we're building AI-native products that help brands make better creative decisions. Our platform combines GenAI, agentic workflows, and large-scale data processing to help marketing teams understand, create, test, and optimize high-performing creatives.
We're looking for an SDE-2 / Backend Engineer who can go beyond writing APIs and take ownership of system design, architecture, scalability, and reliability.
You’ll work on complex backend systems involving large-scale data pipelines, AI workflows, LLMs, and distributed services, while helping shape the technical architecture of products being built from the ground up.
What You'll Do- Design and build scalable, reliable backend systems and APIs for AI-native products.
- Own the system design and architecture of features and services, including data models, APIs, service boundaries, and infrastructure choices.
- Make architectural decisions considering scalability, performance, reliability, maintainability, and cost.
- Own features end-to-end across the SDLC — from technical design and development to testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Design systems that integrate with LLMs, AI agents, RAG pipelines, third-party APIs, and large-scale data processing workflows.
- Build asynchronous and distributed systems capable of handling high-volume workloads.
- Identify bottlenecks and improve application performance, database efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and AI teams to translate product requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Participate actively in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews.
- Establish strong engineering practices around testing, observability, CI/CD, and code quality.
- Evaluate and experiment with emerging AI infrastructure and backend technologies.
What We're Looking ForExperience- 3–5 years of strong backend engineering experience.
- Experience owning production systems and features end-to-end.
- Experience designing and scaling backend systems in a production environment.
- B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Technical Skills- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Strong experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Strong understanding of system design, software architecture, API design, and data modelling.
- Good knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases, Redis, caching strategies, and database optimization.
- Experience with distributed systems, asynchronous programming, queues, background processing, and microservices.
- Ability to reason about scalability, concurrency, fault tolerance, consistency, and system reliability.
- Experience with AWS or GCP and designing cloud-based architectures.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development.
- Strong understanding of Git, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and SDLC best practices.
- Exposure to LLMs, AI agents, RAG systems, vector databases, or AI infrastructure is highly preferred.
- Experience building products in an early-stage or fast-growing startup is a strong plus.
What We Value- Strong technical ownership: You don't just implement requirements—you think through how the system should be designed.
- Architecture-first thinking: You can evaluate trade-offs and design systems that remain maintainable as they scale.
- Problem solving: You're comfortable breaking down ambiguous and complex engineering problems.
- Product mindset: You care about what you're building, not just the code behind it.
- Bias for execution: You can move quickly without compromising engineering fundamentals.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn emerging technologies, especially AI and GenAI.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
What You'll Get- Opportunity to design and architect AI-native products from the ground up.
- Ownership of critical backend systems as Deepsolv scales.
- Work directly with the founders on high-impact product and engineering decisions.
- Exposure to cutting-edge GenAI, LLMs, agentic systems, and large-scale data infrastructure.
- High ownership, rapid learning, and significant technical growth.
- Competitive salary, ESOP opportunities, and performance-based growth.
- A fast-moving environment where strong engineers can have an outsized impact.
