We are seeking an experienced SDE-2 (Platform & Infrastructure) to join a rapidly scaling healthcare technology company. This role offers the opportunity to own platform components end-to-end, from architecture and implementation to production rollout, monitoring, and operational excellence across a global infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure & Cloud: Design and scale multi-region AWS infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, and robust CI/CD pipelines.
- System Design & Delivery: Build medium-complexity distributed systems, manage failure scenarios, migrations, and rollbacks with minimal guidance.
- AI-Augmented Engineering: Leverage AI coding assistants and build features using AI/ML APIs (including large language models and embeddings) with proper fallbacks, monitoring, and cost optimization.
- Collaboration & Quality: Mentor junior engineers, drive engineering standards, and work closely with Product and QA teams.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend language such as Node.js / TypeScript, Python, or Go.
- Production experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Linux, and networking fundamentals.
- Strong skills in observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
