We are seeking a talented Backend AI Engineer to take full ownership of a multi-tenant backend platform that integrates video pipelines and applied AI features such as semantic search over recorded footage. This role involves a blend of platform engineering and applied AI development, working on a live, deployed product that processes video on-premise across diverse industries including factories, retail chains, housing societies, schools, and government sites.
Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India (In-office)
Experience: 4 - 8 years
Compensation: Competitive salary ranging from 20 - 30 LPA
Responsibilities:
- Own and develop the backend platform end-to-end, including multi-tenant architecture and video processing pipelines.
- Build and enhance applied AI features such as visual language models (VLMs), embeddings, and retrieval systems.
- Ship production-ready code rapidly, with the opportunity to deploy within the first 90 days.
- Collaborate directly with leadership and customers to deliver impactful AI-driven solutions.
