We are seeking an experienced Accounting Workflow Specialist to join our team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will collaborate closely with customers to analyze their financial close workflows and workpapers, identify automation opportunities, and design and configure solutions to streamline accounting processes.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to understand and dissect their accounting close workflows.
- Identify areas suitable for automation and design corresponding configurations.
- Manage the end-to-end process including scoping documentation, build, user acceptance testing (UAT), go-live, and ongoing support.
- Participate in technical discovery calls alongside account executives and deployment engineers.
- Apply deep accounting knowledge to ensure accuracy, such as understanding why accruals may be incorrect to properly configure automation agents.
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
