Role Overview
We are looking for a Website Developer with strong expertise in Shopify & WordPress, combined with a good sense of UI/UX design. The ideal candidate should have an eye for aesthetics, technical proficiency, and excellent presentation and communication skills. This role requires someone who can develop high-performing, visually engaging websites while ensuring a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Shopify & WordPress websites with a focus on aesthetics, functionality, and speed.
- Implement UI/UX best practices to enhance user experience.
- Convert Figma/PSD designs into pixel-perfect, responsive websites.
- Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
- Customize themes, plugins, and third-party integrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website performance, security, and functionality issues.
- Maintain brand consistency across all digital platforms.
- Present ideas, concepts, and project updates clearly to clients and internal teams.
- Stay updated on design trends, web technologies, and e-commerce best practices.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in website development, with a focus on Shopify & WordPress.
- Strong command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid (for Shopify), and PHP (for WordPress).
- Experience with UI/UX principles, wireframing, and prototyping tools.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
- Ability to integrate and configure third-party apps, payment gateways, and custom functionalities.
- Strong presentation and communication skills to effectively convey design ideas and technical solutions.
- A keen eye for design, typography, and branding alignment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Portfolio showcasing visually appealing, user-friendly websites.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Webflow, React, or other CMS platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of graphic design tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
- Understanding of performance marketing landing pages and A/B testing.
