Role Description The Warehouse Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ghaziabad, responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations. The role includes planning and coordinating the receipt, storage, and dispatch of automobile parts and lubricants to ensure accurate, timely deliveries. The Warehouse Manager will manage inventory levels, supervise stock control processes, and implement efficient workflows to optimize space utilization and reduce errors. This position involves leading and training warehouse team members, monitoring equipment use, enforcing safety and compliance standards, and collaborating with logistics and distribution teams to support smooth supply chain activities. The Warehouse Manager will also prepare regular reports on inventory, productivity, and operational performance and recommend improvements as needed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Stock Control and Inventory Control skills to maintain accurate records and minimize discrepancies.
- Candidates should possess solid Inventory Management capabilities to plan, monitor, and optimize stock levels for high-demand products.
- Candidates should possess Operations Management skills to oversee warehouse processes, team performance, and resource utilization.
- Candidates should possess practical Forklift Operation skills and knowledge of safe material-handling practices (certification preferred).
- Candidates should possess leadership and people-management skills to guide teams, delegate tasks, and resolve operational issues.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), spreadsheets, and basic reporting tools.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on safety and compliance.
- Relevant experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably in the automobile sector, and a diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field would be beneficial.
