We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Asset Value Management Specialist to oversee asset valuation, performance analysis, lifecycle management, and value optimization initiatives. This role will work closely with Finance, Operations, Procurement, Investment, and Management teams to maximize asset value, improve utilization, and support strategic business decisions.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and analyze the financial and operational performance of company assets.
• Conduct asset valuation, market analysis, and performance assessments to support business decisions.
• Develop asset value management strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Monitor asset lifecycle, utilization, depreciation, maintenance costs, and overall performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve asset utilization, reduce costs, and maximize return on assets.
• Conduct financial analysis and investment assessments for asset acquisition, replacement, disposal, and optimization.
• Prepare asset valuation reports, financial models, forecasts, and management presentations.
• Monitor market trends, asset pricing, industry developments, and external factors affecting asset values.
• Support capital investment planning and asset portfolio optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams on asset valuation, depreciation, impairment, and financial reporting requirements.
• Work with Operations and Maintenance teams to improve asset performance and lifecycle efficiency.
• Evaluate asset risks and recommend appropriate mitigation and value protection strategies.
• Support due diligence and valuation activities for potential acquisitions, investments, and strategic transactions.
• Maintain accurate asset databases, valuation records, financial information, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare regular asset performance reports and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Identify opportunities for asset restructuring, redeployment, disposal, or reinvestment to maximize value.
✅ Requirements
• Proven experience in asset management, valuation, investment analysis, financial analysis, real estate, infrastructure, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of asset valuation, financial modeling, investment analysis, and asset lifecycle management.
• Experience analyzing asset performance, market values, financial returns, and investment opportunities.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, depreciation, capital expenditure, and return-on-investment concepts.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.
• Experience with ERP, asset management, financial reporting, or portfolio management systems is an advantage.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify value creation opportunities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Ability to work effectively with Finance, Operations, Investment, Procurement, and senior management teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Real Estate, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• CFA, CPA, ACCA, FRM, or other relevant professional qualifications are an advantage.
