Job Title: Visual Design Evaluator & Feedback Specialist
Compensation: ₹140 - 200 / hour
Employment Type: Contract / Freelance
Role Overview
We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Visual Design Evaluator to review visual design assets against creative briefs and produce structured, actionable qualitative feedback. This role does not involve creating graphics from scratch; instead, it focuses entirely on visual auditing, heuristic evaluation, and articulating precise aesthetic, functional, and accessibility feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Review visual design assets (marketing flyers, brand explorations, digital layouts) against creative briefs and product specifications.
- Write structured feedback pairs consisting of a descriptive Judgement (location, exact copy in quotes, defect/success, and user impact) and an actionable Suggestion (clear directive starting with an action verb).
- Evaluate layouts across typography, contrast, accessibility, optical balance, alignment, and spatial margins.
- Tag each feedback point with accurate metadata (Sentiment, Priority, Category).
Below is a direct example of the structured feedback you will write:
Judgement:"In the lower-left corner, the session titles "PRESS PREVIEW" and "RUNWAY I" are rendered in dark purple directly over the asphalt background, creating low contrast that makes the schedule difficult to read.
"Suggestion:"Improve the tonal contrast and background separation of the session titles in the lower-left quadrant."
Qualifications & Requirements
- Solid foundation in graphic design principles, UI fundamentals, color theory, typography, and visual accessibility.
- Strong written English skills with the ability to articulate visual flaws precisely and objectively.
- High attention to detail (spotting font weight mismatches, uneven padding, clipping issues, and optical imbalance).
- Ability to strictly follow evaluation guidelines and structured rubrics.
Professional design portfolio required for the application.
