Role Description The Videographer is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore, responsible for planning, shooting, and delivering high-quality video content for various brand and marketing projects. Day-to-day tasks include operating cameras and related equipment, setting up lighting, and capturing footage for social media videos, corporate films, music videos, product shoots, and other visual content. The role involves collaborating with directors, producers, and creative teams to interpret briefs, plan shot lists, and maintain visual consistency across different platforms. The Videographer will also assist with basic editing, file management, and equipment maintenance while meeting project deadlines and production schedules.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in video production, including planning, shooting, and coordinating video projects.
- Proficient camera operation and handling of different camera types and related gear.
- Ability to set up and control lighting for indoor and outdoor shoots, ensuring consistent image quality.
- Hands-on experience shooting video across formats such as social media content, corporate films, and product videos.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is beneficial.
- Good visual storytelling sense, composition skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore, collaborate with a creative team, and manage time effectively.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, or visual communications is an advantage; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating prior work is strongly preferred.
