Role Description The Freelance Videographer at BETA is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruvallur. This role involves planning, shooting, and producing video content that showcases BETA’s services, projects, and brand stories. Day-to-day tasks include operating cameras and related equipment, setting up lighting, capturing high-quality footage, and collaborating with marketing and technical teams to understand project requirements. The Videographer will edit video materials as needed, ensure consistency with brand guidelines, and manage file organization and backups. The role also includes participating in pre-production discussions, scouting locations, and suggesting creative approaches to visual storytelling.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Shooting Video for corporate, promotional, and educational content.
- Proficient Camera Operation, including handling different Camera types and lenses.
- Practical knowledge of Lighting setups for indoor and outdoor shoots.
- Experience working with marketing or creative teams to translate concepts into visual narratives.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools).
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work on-site in Tiruvallur on a full-time schedule.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, professional approach when working with stakeholders and subjects.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, visual communication, or a related field is beneficial.
- Prior experience as a videographer in tech, corporate, or agency environments is an added advantage.
