Video Editor – Kolkata (Work From Office)
CreazionMedia is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging stories that capture attention and drive results.
This is not a role for someone who simply cuts clips together. We're looking for someone who understands storytelling, motion graphics, pacing, retention, and visual communication.
You'll work across multiple brands, founders, events, and social media campaigns while collaborating closely with our creative and strategy teams.
Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and long-form videos.
- Create engaging motion graphics and animations using Adobe After Effects.
- Edit podcasts, interviews, founder content, advertisements, and brand films.
- Produce event highlight videos and aftermovies.
- Add subtitles, sound design, colour correction, transitions, and visual effects where required.
- Organise project files and maintain a structured workflow.
- Collaborate with designers, strategists, and account managers to deliver projects on time.
- Stay updated with current editing trends, social media formats, and AI-powered creative workflows.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of professional experience in video editing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects (Mandatory).
- Strong understanding of storytelling, editing rhythm, typography, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience editing content for Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to take ownership of assigned work.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a digital marketing or creative agency.
- Knowledge of colour grading, sound design, and basic VFX.
- Experience editing founder-led content, podcasts, and event videos.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Adobe Firefly, Runway, Higgsfield, or similar creative tools.
