Role Description The Video Editor Intern role at Midgrow is a full-time, on-site position based in Indore. In this role, the intern will assist in editing and assembling video content for marketing campaigns, social media, and client projects, ensuring smooth storytelling and brand alignment. Day-to-day responsibilities include cutting and arranging footage, adding transitions and effects, performing basic color correction, and integrating motion graphics or visual elements as needed. The intern will collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and developers to adapt video assets for different platforms and formats, and maintain organized media libraries and project files. The role also involves following creative briefs, meeting deadlines, and contributing ideas to enhance the visual quality and impact of Midgrow’s digital content.
Qualifications
- Ability to work across the video production process, including basic planning, shooting support, and assembling raw footage.
- Strong video editing skills using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Foundational knowledge of video color grading and color correction to maintain visual consistency and style.
- Skills in motion graphics and graphics creation using tools such as After Effects, Illustrator, or comparable software.
- Attention to detail, creativity in visual storytelling, and a strong sense of timing and pacing.
- Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, on-site team environment and follow creative direction and feedback.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred.
- Portfolio or samples of previous video and motion work demonstrating relevant skills and creativity.
