Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Panaji. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, selecting key scenes, and creating polished video content that aligns with project objectives and brand guidelines. Daily tasks include editing video sequences, applying color correction and grading, integrating motion graphics and visual elements, and collaborating with producers and designers to refine concepts. The role involves organizing media assets, maintaining project file structures, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content for digital, social, and broadcast platforms. The Video Editor will also contribute creative ideas during pre-production and provide constructive feedback during review cycles.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production, including planning shoots, organizing footage, and understanding camera formats and workflows.
- Candidates should possess advanced skills in Video Editing, with proficiency in industry-standard editing software and experience crafting narrative, promotional, or social media content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading, including basic color correction, style development, and matching shots for a consistent visual look.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics, including creating simple animations, titles, lower thirds, and visual elements that enhance storytelling.
- Candidates should possess strong visual storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to follow brand and style guidelines.
- Relevant experience working in a production house, agency, or similar creative environment is beneficial.
- Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software is preferred.
- Good communication skills, ability to take feedback, and capability to work on-site in a collaborative team setting are essential.
- A diploma or degree in Film, Media, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is advantageous.
