Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based at Ledgergate CMA Academy in Kozhikode. The Video Editor will plan, edit, and produce video content for lectures, promotional materials, social media, and other academy initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include assembling raw footage, applying transitions and effects, performing basic color correction and grading, and integrating motion graphics and titles to enhance educational and marketing videos. The role involves collaborating with faculty and the marketing team to understand content requirements, maintain brand consistency, and deliver videos on schedule. The Video Editor will also organize media assets, manage file storage, and ensure that final outputs meet technical and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for educational and promotional content.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and quality.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to support learning and marketing objectives.
- Experience with industry-standard editing and motion tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Good sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and audio-visual synchronization.
- Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in an academic environment.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with faculty and staff.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communication, Design, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
