Role Description The Video Editor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The Video Editor will handle end-to-end editing of event footage, including selecting and organizing clips, assembling timelines, and creating polished videos for various platforms. Daily responsibilities include color grading, adding motion graphics and text overlays, syncing audio, and adapting edits for social media, brand films, and event highlights. The role also involves collaborating closely with producers, videographers, and designers to align edits with event objectives and brand guidelines, as well as managing project files and meeting tight production deadlines. The Video Editor is expected to contribute creative ideas, maintain high visual standards, and support continuous improvement in Gmedia’s overall video output.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for event and promotional content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, cinematic visuals across different lighting and event environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, lower thirds, transitions, and visual elements.
- Candidates should be proficient with industry-standard editing and motion tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent).
- Candidates should demonstrate strong storytelling ability, attention to detail, and a portfolio showcasing event or brand-related video work.
- Candidates should have the ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines collaboratively.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, animation, or a related field is beneficial; prior experience in event or creative production is an added advantage.
