Role Description The Video Editor role at Markay Technologies Pvt Ltd is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. In this role, the Video Editor will edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos for marketing campaigns, brand stories, product showcases, and social media content. Typical tasks include selecting and trimming clips, adding transitions, color grading footage, and integrating motion graphics and text overlays. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with the creative and marketing teams to align visual output with brand guidelines, project briefs, and campaign objectives. The role also involves organizing media assets, maintaining project files, and consistently meeting production deadlines.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in video production and video editing for a variety of formats and platforms.
- Proficiency in video color grading and motion graphics to enhance visual storytelling.
- Experience with graphics design for titles, lower-thirds, and visual elements that support brand identity.
- Hands-on experience with professional editing and motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro).
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, follow brand guidelines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail, strong time management skills, and the ability to work on-site in Hyderabad.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred, along with a portfolio demonstrating video editing and motion graphics work.
