About the Role
We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for editing educational videos, YouTube content, Shorts/Reels and promotional videos for our EdTech platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit educational lectures and YouTube videos.
- Create engaging YouTube Shorts, Videos and Instagram Reels from long-form content.
- Create engaging Video Ads
- Add text, captions, graphics, transitions and animations wherever required.
- Ensure good audio quality, colour correction and overall video quality.
- Create engaging intros/hooks and maintain good pacing.
- Repurpose existing content into short-form videos for social media.
- Work closely with the content and marketing team.
- Complete assigned videos within the given timelines.
- Maintain consistency in the company's video style and branding.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience as a Video Editor.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Knowledge of After Effects will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of YouTube, Instagram Reels and Shorts.
- Good sense of pacing, storytelling and visual presentation.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics, colour correction and audio editing.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Portfolio
Portfolio/Showreel is mandatory. Candidates should share relevant examples of their previous editing work, especially YouTube videos, Reels/Shorts or educational content.

Someone who is creative, quick, detail-oriented and understands how to make educational content engaging without compromising on clarity.
