MicroSave Consulting (MSC) is looking for a detail-oriented Executive โ Copy Editor to join our Knowledge Management & Marketing (KMM) team.
This role is ideal for an editorial professional with strong language skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to transform complex technical information into clear, engaging, and reader-friendly content.
With 27 years of experience in financial, social, and economic inclusion, MSC works with governments, donors, private-sector organisations, and local businesses across 68+ developing countries.
๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ:
๐น Edit and proofread blogs, reports, presentations, campaigns, social media content, and other communication materials.
๐น Ensure content aligns with MSCโs editorial standards, brand guidelines, and house style.
๐น Improve clarity, readability, structure, and flow while maintaining accuracy and the original intent.
๐น Strengthen grammar and language, eliminate Indianisms, resolve inconsistencies, and apply plain English principles.
๐น Use AI tools responsibly to support research and editorial processes.
๐น Manage multiple assignments and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
๐น Collaborate closely with cross-functional and communications teams.
๐๐ก๐๐ญ ๐๐โ๐ซ๐ ๐๐จ๐จ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ ๐
๐จ๐ซ:
๐น 2โ5 years of experience in editing, publishing, print/digital media, business or technical editing, or related fields.
๐น Experience or internship with a media organisation, publishing house, or editorial team.
๐น Excellent command of English, with strong editing, proofreading, and rewriting skills.
๐น Ability to work with and adapt to different editorial, brand, and client style guides.
๐น Familiarity with generative AI and LLM-based tools.
๐น Strong organisational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
๐น Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach.
๐น Proficiency in Microsoft Word (Track Changes), PowerPoint, and Excel.
๐๐จ๐จ๐ ๐๐จ ๐๐๐ฏ๐:
๐น A degree in English, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.
๐น An interest in international development, poverty alleviation, gender, climate, or environmental issues.
