Role Description This full-time, on-site Video Editor role is based in Noida. The Video Editor will work closely with faculty and creative teams to edit instructional, promotional, and event-related video content that aligns with AAFT’s brand and educational goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include assembling raw footage, structuring narratives, applying transitions, titles, and basic effects, and collaborating on concepts and storyboards. The role also involves color grading, basic motion graphics integration, audio synchronization, and preparing final deliverables for multiple platforms. The Video Editor will manage project files, maintain organized archives, and meet production timelines while contributing creative ideas to enhance video quality and engagement.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including working with different formats, frame rates, and aspect ratios.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, mood, and quality across projects.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create simple animations, titles, and visual elements that support storytelling.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing and post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Photoshop or similar).
- Strong visual storytelling sense, attention to detail, and ability to follow brand and academic guidelines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators, students, and creative teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant education in film, media, animation, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in video editing and production.
- Experience in educational, institutional, or promotional video projects and familiarity with social media formats is an advantage.
