Job Description – Video Editor & Producer

About the Role
TransCurators is looking for a creative and hands-on Video Editor & Producer who can manage video projects from concept to final delivery. The ideal candidate should have strong editing skills along with experience in video production, storytelling, shoot coordination, and post-production.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand client briefs and develop creative concepts and visual storytelling ideas.
- Create scripts, storyboards, shot lists, and production plans.
- Plan and coordinate video shoots, including locations, talent, equipment, and production teams.
- Manage end-to-end video production from pre-production to final delivery.
- Edit videos independently using professional editing tools.
- Handle cuts, transitions, sound design, subtitles, color correction, motion graphics, and basic VFX.
- Coordinate with clients, account managers, writers, designers, and production teams.
- Review feedback and implement revisions within timelines.
- Ensure videos meet creative, technical, branding, and quality standards.
- Manage multiple projects while ensuring timely delivery.
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of experience in Video Editing, Video Production, Advertising, Digital Media, or Agency environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Good understanding of storytelling, cinematography, editing, and production workflows.
- Experience managing video shoots and post-production.
- Strong communication, coordination, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating editing and production work.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Audition, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
- Experience with social media, branded, corporate, promotional, or learning videos.
- Exposure to AI video tools such as Runway, Pika, Kling, Veo, or Descript.
