Position Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our content and marketing team. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about digital media, visual storytelling, and creating engaging content for social media and online platforms. Fresh graduates with strong editing skills and a creative portfolio are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and produce high-quality video content for social media, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities.
- Create engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, advertisements, and brand videos.
- Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, subtitles, sound effects, and background music.
- Optimize videos for different platforms while maintaining brand consistency.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to execute creative concepts.
- Manage project files, assets, and version control efficiently.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Stay updated with emerging content trends, editing techniques, and platform best practices.
Required Competencies
- Basic proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent editing tools.
- Understanding of video composition, pacing, storytelling, and audio synchronization.
- Knowledge of various video formats, resolutions, and social media specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple assignments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, diploma, or certification in Multimedia, Mass Communication, Animation, Film Production, or a related field.
- Portfolio showcasing editing projects, academic work, internships, or personal creative projects.
- Familiarity with motion graphics, color correction, and basic animation techniques will be an advantage.
