Vice President – Engineering, Solution Architecture & Project Delivery
Location: Pune
We are looking for a senior technology executive to lead Engineering, Solution Architecture, and Project Delivery across a growing technology organization.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for building scalable engineering and delivery operations, strengthening solution architecture and pre-sales capabilities, and ensuring predictable, high-quality project execution.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Engineering, Solution Architecture, Delivery, PMO, QA, and related technical functions
• Define and execute engineering strategy, architecture standards, SDLC practices, and technology roadmaps
• Oversee technical discovery, solution design, estimation, proposals/SOWs, and sales-to-delivery handoffs
• Drive end-to-end project delivery, portfolio governance, quality, schedule, budget, and margins
• Establish scalable operating processes, governance frameworks, KPIs, and executive reporting
• Lead resource planning, utilization, workforce strategy, succession planning, and leadership development
• Drive automation, AI-enabled engineering practices, modernization, and continuous improvement
• Serve as an executive escalation point for major technical, delivery, client, and operational risks
🎯 What We’re Looking For:
• 15+ years of progressive experience in Engineering, Solution Architecture, Technology Delivery, or Digital Transformation
• 5+ years leading substantial engineering, architecture, and delivery organizations
• Proven experience leading client-facing technology projects and complex delivery portfolios
• Strong background in Solution Architecture, technical pre-sales, estimation, and SOW governance
• Experience managing distributed/onshore-offshore engineering and delivery teams
• Strong understanding of cloud, DevOps/CI/CD, modern software architecture, Agile delivery, security, and quality engineering
• Strong commercial understanding of project economics, margins, utilization, forecasting, and resource planning
• Exceptional executive communication, client management, decision-making, and leadership skills
