About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Vice President – Delivery Excellence to lead large-scale technology and delivery operations across multiple accounts and strategic engagements.
The role will focus on delivery leadership, operational excellence, financial performance, client relationships, people leadership, and technology execution. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across Technology Delivery, Product/Engineering, Software Development, Client Management, P&L and large cross-functional teams.
Experience in EdTech, Digital Learning, Learning Services, Publishing, SaaS or Technology Services will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivery & Operational Leadership
- Lead delivery across Technology, Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, Content and Operations.
- Drive quality, productivity, timelines, customer satisfaction and execution discipline.
- Manage multiple accounts and proactively resolve critical delivery challenges and escalations.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery efficiency and operational performance.
2. Business & Financial Management
- Own revenue, margins, costs, profitability and delivery performance.
- Partner with Sales and Account Management on renewals, account expansion and growth opportunities.
- Drive resource utilization, capacity planning and cost optimization.
- Provide leadership with insights on business performance and risks.
3. Client & Executive Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with enterprise customers and senior stakeholders.
- Lead executive-level reviews, governance discussions and critical escalations.
- Drive customer satisfaction, retention and account growth.
4. Technology & Engineering Delivery
- Partner with Product and Engineering leadership on technology execution.
- Provide strong understanding of SDLC, Product Engineering, Cloud, DevOps, Release Management and deployment cycles.
- Drive quality, scalability, reliability and technology delivery standards.
- Ensure effective collaboration between Content and Technology teams.
5. People & Leadership
- Lead and develop large, diverse teams across Technology, Engineering, Product, Content, QA, DevOps and Operations.
- Build a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration and execution excellence.
- Mentor senior leaders and drive talent development, succession planning and capability building.
6. Performance & Operational Excellence
- Drive KPIs covering revenue, margins, utilization, productivity, quality, customer satisfaction and delivery performance.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement measurable improvements.
- Promote automation, analytics and AI to improve business and delivery outcomes.

What You Will Bring
- 20+ years of experience, including 15+ years in technology/delivery leadership with proven ownership of large-scale delivery organizations.
- Strong business and financial acumen, with hands-on experience managing revenue, margins, profitability and operational performance.
- Strong technology foundation with experience across Software Development, Engineering, Product Delivery, Cloud and DevOps.
- Proven ability to lead large, high-performing teams, build leadership capability and manage complex enterprise client relationships.
- Strong executive presence, strategic thinking, communication and execution orientation, with the ability to drive business growth and operational excellence.
Pune-based candidates are preferred.
