We're Hiring: Verification and Validation Engineer
📍Location Koparkhairane, Navi Mumbai | [Full-time -On-site]
We're looking for a detail-oriented Verification and Validation Engineer to join our team
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute verification and validation protocols for medical device hardware and associated mobile and web applications.
* Design and set up testing environments for hardware and software components of medical devices.
* Perform functional, performance, and usability testing for Medical Devices.
* Identify and document defects and inconsistencies, collaborating with development teams for resolution.
* Design, implement, and execute test scripts for software applications where applicable.
* Assist in defining test strategies, test plans, and acceptance criteria for Medical Devises.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as ISO 13485, IEC 62304,IEC-60601 series and FDA guidelines.
* Contribute to the preparation of detailed test reports and validation documentation of Medical Devices.
* Maintain testing tools and environments, ensuring readiness and calibration.
* Provide inputs for risk assessment and design reviews during product development.
Stay updated with advancements in testing techniques.
🟢 Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics, or a related field.
🔹 Preferably 2+ years of experience in verification, validation, or quality testing, preferably in the medical device or software development domain.
🔹 Ability to design and implement testing setups for hardware and software.
🔹 Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO-13485, IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-2, IEC-62304, and guidelines.
🔹 Experience with documentation for regulatory submissions is advantageous.
🔹 Familiarity with automated testing tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks is preferred.
🔹 Excellent documentation and communication skills.
🔹 Exposure to environmental test standards (IEC 60068 series) and
packaging/transportation testing (ASTM D4169) is a plus.
🔹 Experience coordinating with external NABL-accredited test labs is an added advantage.
