Role Description This full-time, on-site Vehicle Sourcing Executive role is based in Jaipur. The Vehicle Sourcing Executive is responsible for identifying and sourcing end-of-life and salvage vehicles from dealers, brokers, fleet owners, and individual sellers. Day-to-day tasks include researching potential suppliers, building and maintaining relationships, negotiating purchase terms, and ensuring all sourced vehicles meet company standards and compliance requirements. The role involves regular field visits, market analysis to track pricing and availability, coordinating inspections and documentation, and collaborating with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely vehicle collection. The Vehicle Sourcing Executive is also expected to maintain accurate records, prepare periodic sourcing reports, and contribute insights to improve sourcing strategies and overall supply efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong sourcing, negotiation, and vendor relationship management skills, with the ability to build and sustain long-term partnerships.
- Experience in automotive, recycling, or related industries, with familiarity in vehicle categories, basic vehicle assessment, and market pricing.
- Proficiency in basic data entry, record-keeping, and use of spreadsheets or sourcing tools to track leads and conversions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders and resolve issues promptly.
- Good knowledge of the local Jaipur market and surrounding regions, and willingness to travel locally for field visits and supplier meetings.
- Ability to work independently, meet sourcing targets, and manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree or diploma in business, commerce, or automotive-related fields is an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license and comfort with on-road travel; understanding of basic regulatory and compliance requirements related to vehicle purchase and transfer is beneficial.
