The ideal candidate will be well-versed in US staffing practices and bring deep expertise in sourcing, evaluating, and placing qualified engineering professionals.
Job Title: US IT/Engineering Recruiter – US Staffing
Location: Onsite in Galaxy Blue Sapphire, Noida Extension, Near Gaur City Mall
Employment Type: Full-time
Shift: US Shift - 9 AM to 6 PM EST – No Remote or Hybrid - Onsite M-F
Experience: 2-6 years in US Staffing - Engineering Recruitment required
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and coordinating with engineering talent across various domains (mechanical, electrical, civil, software, etc.) for clients based in the United States. A strong understanding of technical job requirements and the US hiring landscape is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end recruitment for engineering positions (Contract, Contract-to-Hire, Full-time) in the US.
- Source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, internal database, referrals, and other creative methods.
- Review resumes and evaluate candidates for technical and professional suitability.
- Conduct initial phone screens and coordinate interviews with clients.
- Maintain candidate and job activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Negotiate pay rates and close candidates within client budgets and expectations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and clients.
- Ensure compliance with US hiring practices, including work authorization (US Citizens, Green Card holders, H1B, TN, etc.).
- Meet or exceed weekly/monthly performance goals and KPIs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering recruiting for the US market.
- Proven experience with US tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099) and work authorizations.
- Familiarity with engineering roles (Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Design Engineer, Product Design Engineer, etc.).
- Strong sourcing skills using Boolean searches and various job portals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ATS - Bullhorn
- Prior experience with VMS-based client requirements.
- Understanding of engineering certifications, tools, and industry terms.
