Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a UI/UX Designer / Product Designer (Fresher) at Coveresy. In this role, you will support the design and enhancement of web and mobile experiences for insurance advisors and customers, working closely with product, engineering, and business teams. Your day-to-day work will include translating requirements into user flows, wireframes, and mockups, assisting in user research and usability testing, and contributing to visual design assets and design systems. You will help refine interaction patterns, improve user journeys, and ensure that interfaces are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with the brand. As a fresher, you will be mentored by senior designers and encouraged to learn best practices in product design and user-centered thinking while contributing to real product features.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Visual Design and Product Design, including layouts, typography, color, and responsive interface design.
- Ability to apply Design Thinking to solve user and business problems, from problem definition to ideation and prototyping.
- Interest or experience in User Research and UX Research, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and synthesizing insights.
- Proficiency with common design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar).
- Basic understanding of UX principles, information architecture, and interaction design for web and mobile applications.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present design concepts clearly to cross-functional teams.
- Portfolio or academic projects demonstrating UI/UX or product design work (student or internship projects are welcome).
- Relevant degree or coursework in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred.
- Curiosity to learn, openness to feedback, and ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced startup environment.
