About the Role:
As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing the user experience and visual interface across Rubix's products.
You will work closely with engineering teams to translate product ideas and requirements into intuitive, consistent, and polished user experiences. We are looking for someone who doesn't simply execute design instructions, but actively participates in the product-design process by asking questions, challenging assumptions, and proposing better solutions.
You will have significant ownership over the design of our products, from understanding the problem and designing user flows to creating high-fidelity interfaces and prototypes that can be translated into production by our engineering team.
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design. Internship experience will not be considered towards the required experience.
- Strong understanding of both UI and UX principles, with a strong eye for visual design.
- Strong proficiency in Figma and similar tools is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of typography, spacing, layout, visual hierarchy, colour, and interaction design.
- Ability to create, maintain, and evolve Rubix's Brand Book, ensuring consistent visual identity and design language across our products.
- Ability to receive feedback objectively, iterate quickly, and work collaboratively the engineering team.
- Ability to independently research, learn, and solve problems.
Good to Have:
- Experience designing dashboards, admin consoles, analytics interfaces, or complex data-heavy applications.
- Basic understanding of modern frontend development frameworks such as ReactJS.
- Experience working in an early-stage startup or fast-moving product environment.
