Job Description: UI/UX Lead
Key Responsibilities
- Design Leadership: Lead front-end UI/UX design efforts to ensure a consistent, intuitive, and accessible user experience across the platform.
- User Research: Conduct usability studies, user interviews, and feedback sessions to identify friction points and opportunities for improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and key stakeholders to translate requirements into polished design solutions.
- Execution & Prototyping: Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for new and existing features.
- Design System Management: Define and maintain a centralized design system to ensure visual and functional consistency.
- Workflow Optimization: Tailor workflows and layouts for diverse user personas, ranging from new user onboarding to advanced, complex graph operations.
- Industry Standards: Stay current on front-end trends, accessibility standards, and modern design best practices to keep the platform ahead of the curve
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5 years in front-end/UI design, preferably focused on SaaS or data visualization products.
- Tooling: Strong proficiency with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and industry-standard prototyping tools.
- Technical Aptitude: Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Technical Design Skill: Proven experience designing complex workflows for technical end-users.
- Accessibility & Responsiveness: In-depth knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and responsive design best practices.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating user-centric design principles, problem-solving, and measurable usability improvements.
- Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to advocate for the user.
