Role Description The Travel Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. In this position, the executive engages with prospective and existing clients, understands their travel needs, and recommends suitable packages and itineraries. Daily responsibilities include responding to inquiries, preparing travel proposals, presenting options, and closing sales while meeting individual and team targets. The role involves coordinating with internal planning teams and external vendors to confirm bookings for flights, hotels, and activities, ensuring a smooth experience for travelers. The executive also maintains accurate records in CRM systems, follows up on leads, manages payments and documentation, and provides post-booking support to enhance customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to convert leads into confirmed bookings.
- Customer service and relationship management skills, including clear communication and active listening.
- Knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations, itineraries, and basic travel procedures (visas, insurance, etc.).
- Comfort working with booking tools, CRM software, and standard office applications.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple clients, itineraries, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to work on-site in Delhi, India, in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Prior experience in travel sales, tour operations, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum educational qualification of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent; a degree or certification in travel, tourism, or hospitality is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi; additional language skills are beneficial.
