Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Travel Consultant – Flights to deliver seamless flight booking solutions for our clients. The role involves understanding customer travel requirements, providing the best available flight options, managing reservations, and ensuring a high level of accuracy and service excellence throughout the booking process.
Customer Base: United Kingdom
Job Location: Gurugram, India (Onsite)
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to understand their travel requirements, preferred airlines, schedules, budgets, and travel preferences.
- Search, compare, and recommend the most suitable domestic and international flight options.
- Manage flight reservations, ticket issuance, reissuance, cancellations, refunds, and amendments using the Amadeus GDS system with accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure all bookings comply with airline fare rules, policies, and ticketing guidelines.
- Convert customer enquiries into confirmed bookings while consistently achieving sales targets.
- Provide clear and accurate information regarding airline policies, baggage allowances, visa requirements (where applicable), transit regulations, and travel advisories.
- Handle end-to-end booking processes, including quotations, payments, documentation, ticket issuance, and itinerary updates.
- Assist clients with schedule changes, disruptions, and post-booking support to ensure a smooth travel experience.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Stay updated on airline promotions, fare changes, route networks, and industry trends to offer the best travel solutions.
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Minimum 2 year of experience in international flight reservations.
- Hands-on experience with the Amadeus GDS system is mandatory.
- Prior experience in UK market is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of airline fare construction refunds, and exchanges.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Sales-driven with a proactive approach to converting enquiries into bookings.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
