Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Travel Consultant role based in Bengaluru. The Travel Consultant will help customers plan solo and group trips using Solopackers’ platform, including advising on destinations, crafting itineraries, and suggesting experiences aligned with each traveler’s preferences and budget. Responsibilities include managing travel arrangements such as flights, accommodations, and local transport, handling reservations, and ensuring timely, accurate information for all bookings. The role involves delivering responsive customer service, resolving issues before and during trips, and collaborating with internal teams to refine offerings and improve traveler satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Ability to provide expert guidance in Travel Consulting and Travel Management, including itinerary planning and destination advice.
- Demonstrated skills in handling Travel Arrangements and Reservations with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong Customer Service capabilities, including active listening, clear communication, and conflict resolution.
- Knowledge of global travel trends, visa requirements, and basic travel compliance considerations.
- Comfort with travel booking tools, CRM systems, and mobile app-based platforms.
- Effective spoken and written communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple bookings, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Relevant experience in travel consulting, tourism, or hospitality; a degree or certification in travel, tourism, or related fields is beneficial.
