Role Description The Travel Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Hyderabad Area. This role involves advising clients on travel options, creating customized itineraries, and managing end-to-end travel arrangements including transportation, accommodation, and tour packages. The Travel Consultant will handle reservations, respond to inquiries, and provide prompt, professional customer service in person, over the phone, and via email. Day-to-day tasks include preparing quotations, confirming bookings, resolving travel issues, coordinating with vendors and partners, and maintaining accurate records of client interactions and itineraries. The role also requires staying updated on travel trends, regulations, and destination information to offer relevant and reliable guidance to clients.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Management, with the ability to design and coordinate complete travel itineraries.
- Proficiency in handling Travel Arrangements and Reservations, including flights, accommodations, local transport, and tour services.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, clear communication, and client satisfaction.
- Familiarity with travel booking systems, GDS or online travel platforms, and basic office software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Hyderabad Area, collaborate with a team, and manage multiple client requests simultaneously.
- Prior experience in a travel agency or tourism-related role is preferred; a diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is beneficial.
