**Job Opportunity: Trade Finance Associate**

## About the Role
Techwise Digital Private Ltd is seeking an experienced Trade Finance Associate to join our team in Whitefield, Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for processing a variety of trade finance transactions, managing import and export loans, and ensuring accurate payment messaging through industry-standard platforms.
## Key Responsibilities
* Process corporate import Letter of Credit (LC) issuances and amendments, as well as related Import LC bills for acceptances and payments.
* Handle corporate Guarantee issuances and amendments, including related claim payments.
* Manage Import and Export corporate and commodity collection bills, overseeing their related acceptances and payments.
* Administer corporate and commodity import and export loans, discounting loans, roll-overs, payments, and past due loans within Loan IQ.
* Handle corporate funded and unfunded risk participations and bank refinancing.
* Input trade finance transactions into FBTI (or other relevant back-office processing systems) and/or Loan IQ, ensuring accurate generation of entries and customer advices.
* Input payment and other SWIFT messages into Calypso and SWIFT Alliance.
* Fulfill all other job duties as assigned by the Team Manager or Chapter Lead.
## Technical Skills & Qualifications
* **Core Trade Finance Knowledge:** Essential knowledge of trade finance products, UCP 600, ISP98, international trade, and Incoterms 2010 rules.
* **Processing Skills:** Speedy and accurate processing capabilities in products such as Import LC Issuance/Amendment, Import/Export Collections, and Export LC Advising.
* **Guarantee Products:** Essential understanding of trade finance guarantee products and familiarity with Demand Guarantee rules (URDG).
* **Systems Proficiency:** Strong preference for candidates with knowledge of Loan IQ, FBTI, and Flexcube. Familiarity with Calypso, SWIFT Alliance, and Matisse MSC is a strong advantage.
* **Payment Processing:** Knowledge and hands-on experience in preparing manual SWIFT payments (e.g., Pacs 008 and Pacs 009), as well as RMB cross-border trade settlements and payments.
* **Software:** Familiarity with Microsoft Windows applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
