Key Responsibilities
MEP Procurement Strategy & Planning
● Develop and implement MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) procurement strategies aligned
with project timelines, quality expectations, and cost objectives.

Translate MEP design and engineering requirements into structured sourcing plans in
collaboration with MEP consultants, design, project, and finance teams.
●
Build forecasting mechanisms for MEP equipment and long-lead items such as chillers, DG sets,
elevators, transformers, HVAC units, and pumps.
MEP Sourcing & Cost Management
●
Lead sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation for MEP equipment and materials including HVAC,
electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, elevators, and BMS systems, as well as related service
contracts.
●
Strengthen vendor competition through structured bidding, technical/commercial comparative
assessments, and strategic negotiation for MEP packages.
● Drive value engineering initiatives on MEP systems to optimize cost without compromising
quality, performance, or design intent.
Vendor Development & Relationship Management
●
Identify, onboard, and develop MEP contractors, OEMs, and specialist agencies (HVAC,
electrical, plumbing, fire safety, elevators, BMS) to strengthen the White Lotus MEP supply
ecosystem.
●
Establish clear performance metrics and conduct vendor reviews to maintain consistent service
quality across MEP trades.
● Resolve commercial issues and disputes with MEP vendors in collaboration with legal, finance,
and project teams.
Tendering & Contracting
●
Lead end-to-end tender management for MEP packages including preparation of tender
documents, technical/commercial evaluations, and contract awarding.
●
Ensure all MEP contracts and agreements reflect project-specific requirements, commercial
clarity, and regulatory compliance, including fire, electrical, and lift codes.
Logistics, Delivery & Inventory Oversight
● Oversee logistics planning, coordination of deliveries, and material movement for MEP equipment
and materials to ensure site readiness.
● Work closely with MEP and project teams to track consumption, stock levels, and site material
requirements.

Establish inventory systems that minimize wastage, prevent shortages, and improve visibility of
MEP materials across projects.
Regulatory Compliance & Documentation
●
Ensure MEP procurement activities comply with applicable laws, codes (fire, electrical, lift,
plumbing), standards, and company governance requirements.
● Maintain organized documentation for MEP vendor agreements, approvals, permits, and
procurement records.
●
Support legal teams with documentation and compliance for MEP-related permissions and
certifications.
Scrap & Asset Management
●
Implement efficient scrap handling, disposal, and recycling procedures for MEP materials
(cabling, piping, fittings) in alignment with sustainability goals.
● Optimize asset utilization and manage processes related to returns, reusables, and MEP material
recovery.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
●
Partner with internal clients including MEP consultants, project managers, construction teams,
design teams, and finance to align procurement with project needs.
●
Serve as a key liaison to ensure smooth communication between MEP contractors, suppliers, and
internal stakeholders.
Team Leadership & Development
●
Lead and mentor the MEP procurement team, fostering ownership, accountability, and
continuous improvement.
●
Build strong processes, SOPs, and tracking systems that strengthen MEP procurement
performance and operational excellence.
●
Promote a culture of transparency, collaboration, and high service standards within the
department.
