Role Description The TGT Science Faculty (Physics & Chemistry) will teach Physics and Chemistry to students from classes 7 to 10, following ICSE and CBSE curricula. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering interactive lessons, preparing and reviewing assignments, conducting periodic tests, and providing individualized academic support where needed. The faculty member will clarify concepts, guide laboratory activities and demonstrations, and incorporate problem-solving and analytical skills into classroom teaching. The role also involves tracking student progress, collaborating with other faculty for academic planning, and participating in parent–teacher interactions and mentoring sessions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida.
Qualifications
- Strong subject knowledge in Physics and Physics Education, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and at appropriate grade levels.
- Competence in related domains such as Astronomy and Theoretical Physics to enrich classroom discussions and foster curiosity.
- Proficiency in Mathematics sufficient to support Physics problem-solving and numerical applications across the relevant grade range.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science (Physics/Chemistry) or a related discipline; B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Prior experience teaching school-level Physics and Chemistry, ideally in ICSE or CBSE environments.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners.
- Comfort with using educational technology, digital content, and online tools to supplement in-person teaching.
- Commitment to student-centered learning, regular assessment, and continuous academic improvement.
