Role Description The Tender and Procurement – Electrical role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The role involves managing end-to-end tender processes, including reviewing tender documents, preparing technical and commercial bids, coordinating clarifications, and ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements. The role also includes handling procurement activities for electrical materials and services, such as preparing purchase orders, evaluating suppliers, and negotiating contracts to achieve competitive pricing and quality standards. The individual will collaborate closely with project, engineering, and finance teams to align material requirements with project timelines and budgets. Daily responsibilities include maintaining vendor databases, tracking deliveries, monitoring contract performance, and generating reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement in procurement practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Procurement and Purchase Orders skills for managing material sourcing and order processing.
- Candidates should possess Supplier Evaluation skills to assess vendor reliability, pricing, and quality.
- Candidates should possess Contract Negotiation skills to secure favorable commercial and legal terms.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret data, compare quotations, and optimize cost and quality.
- Relevant experience in electrical contracting, construction, or infrastructure procurement is preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical materials, standards, and vendor markets will be beneficial.
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement/ERP tools is desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.
