Role Description This is a full-time, on-site RTL FPGA role based in Bengaluru, focused on complex FPGA design and implementation for advanced digital systems. The role involves writing synthesizable RTL code, developing FPGA architectures, and performing functional and timing verification of designs. The individual will work on FPGA prototyping of ASIC/SoC solutions, integrating IP blocks, optimizing resource usage, and meeting performance, power, and area targets. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, debugging hardware and RTL issues, reviewing design specifications, and participating in design and code reviews. The role also requires documentation of design flows and support for lab bring-up, testing, and validation activities.
Qualifications
- Strong RTL design skills for FPGA and ASIC, including experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog or VHDL and exposure to complex digital architectures.
- Hands-on expertise in FPGA design flows, synthesis, place-and-route, static timing analysis, and FPGA prototyping tools from major vendors (e.g., Xilinx, Intel/Altera, Microchip).
- Experience in verification methodologies such as simulation-based verification, testbench development, and debugging using industry-standard EDA tools.
- Solid understanding of digital design fundamentals, clocking, resets, interfaces (e.g., AXI, PCIe, DDR), and hardware bring-up and lab debugging.
- Ability to collaborate with embedded software and system design teams, with familiarity in pre-silicon validation and system-level integration.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in RTL/FPGA design and development, preferably within ASIC/SoC or system-level product environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
